CAN YOU GET HELP WITH YOUR CHILDCARE COSTS?

We pride ourselves on our fair and transparent approach to nursery fees.

ABC Children’s Day Nursery is also delighted to offer government-funded childcare.   If eligible, you could be entitled to up to 570 or 1140 hours of funded childcare, depending on your eligibility and your child's age, each year for your child.   Please see more information below or reach out to us via this link.   We are here to help!

ABC Children’s Day Nursery is an Ofsted registered childcare provider, which means we accept tax-free payment for childcare.

Tax-free childcare

Tax-free childcare is a government initiative designed to help working parents with the costs of childcare.

Working parents of children aged under 12 can access Tax-Free Childcare by opening an online account, (through the government website, www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare), through to pay for registered childcare. For every 80p that parents pay into the account, the government will top-up an extra 20p. Parents can receive up to £2,000 per child, per year, (or £4,000 for disabled children).

Tax-free childcare can be a great option for you and your family to save money on childcare costs. However, we strongly advise parents to ensure they have read all the advice in relation to what is best for them and whether they should move from an existing scheme.

Childcare Choices

The government’s Childcare Choices website will guide you through your options for childcare costs support. It provides access to the application process for the childcare accounts and funding entitlement – make sure you are ticking the correct boxes for your situation.

Eligibility for funding hours is determined by HMRC, and parents should check their own eligibility through the relevant government website. The website Childcare Choices childcarechoices.gov offers you the opportunity to compare what is best for your family.

Government Funding Plan

The Government has announced 30 hours funding entitlement to be in place for working families by September 2025. Please see the table below showing the delivery plan.
